The obvious Haunted house that wasn't necessarily so! Harry Price pretty much admitted most of the 'events' were fake in his many books on the subject. Having said that I have been to, and live close by, to where it used to be, I've traced where the rectory used to be and part of the entrance wall is all that remains. They hamlet itself is very small and to me felt very odd, couldn't say if I felt good or bad. There have been reports from the local church opposite where the rectory once stood. I would love to have a better look around the church but sadly the locals are none too friendly on the subject, mainly because every Halloween every weirdo alive descends on the place. So for what was advertised as the most haunted house in England, despite being gone has been Harry Price's biggest iffy legacy.
